Woodrow Wilson Career Enhancement Junior Faculty Fellowship

Maleda Belilgne Wins Woodrow Wilson Career Enhancement Junior Faculty Fellowship 

Dr. Belilgne has been named a 2018 Woodrow Wilson Career Enhancement Fellow. Funded by the Andrew W. Mellon Foundation, the Woodrow Wilson Career Enhancement award allows exceptional junior faculty to pursue scholarly research and writing during the Fellowship period in order to facilitate the acquisition of tenure.

Dr. Belilgne is one of ten scholars selected to receive the competitive 12-month award. She will use the time to work on her book manuscript, which explores space, sound, and the speculative in literature of the African diaspora. Dr. Belilgne will be on research leave during the 2018-19 academic year.
